Commercial debt should be reviewed well before maturity. A new lender will want to understand current income, tenant concentration, lease rollover, operating expenses, property condition, outstanding debt, and the owner’s plans. That work is easier when it begins before timing becomes urgent.
An early review can show whether the right solution is a renewal, refinance, new term debt, construction or bridge financing, insured financing, or a staged capital plan. It also gives the owner time to correct documentation gaps and consider any release, payout, or legal requirements.
Monty’s view: The best time to build refinancing options is while you still have options.
Review your commercial financing before maturity.
