An acquisition can move faster than a lender’s review. The buyer who waits until the purchase agreement is nearly final often loses time finding out which lenders fit, what equity contribution is expected, and how the transaction will support itself after closing.
Before committing, prepare a concise acquisition narrative: the target business, purchase price, equity, seller support if any, historic financial performance, transition plan, working-capital requirement, and debt-service capacity. The lender must be able to see not only how the business was bought, but how the combined business will repay the financing.
Monty Capital helps owners frame that story, identify the right capital sources, and coordinate a realistic process with their legal, accounting, and transaction advisers.
